Why Paris and Normandy?

Have you ever dreamed of reliving the epic Battle of Normandy, the greatest military exploit in history? From Paris, it is very easy to visit the sites where the allied forces – Americans, Canadians, British and French, landed on D-day, as well as the military cemeteries and museums which mark that day.

Pay your respects at the American Cemetery, just above Omaha Beach at Colleville-sur-Mer, where over 9000 U.S. soldiers are buried. Visit the German artillery batteries which gave the allies such a pounding on that day. Tour Arromanches where the British created the world’s first artificial harbour and learn what made it “the longest day” at the Caen Peace Memorial, a museum designed to put the Battle of Normandy in a broader context with videos and exhibits on the causes and aftermath of WWII.
